Veryl Festival

Veryl is a four-day festival of electronic music, workshops, art, and nature. It’s located on an old airfield near Berlin. In addition to great line-ups, the festival program offers yoga, a wine bar, a pool, a restaurant, performances, and installations. Organisers of the festival put a lot of value on inclusivity, diversity, and awareness. I was approached by the organisers to create a new brand and website for the festival. We've developed a brand identity that uses two strong recognizable colors, green connecting to nature, and yellow giving it a fresh contemporary feeling. The futuristic chrome shapes, which are placed next to event images, reflect the environment with shimmering, otherworldly light.

Revitalising brand identity: creating a memorable event website

The internal event team has designed a website on their own, using Squarespace, but they found it to be too bland, without a proper brand identity, not very memorable, nor inspiring. The goal was to create a site with a strong brand identity, and captivating design elements, for it to entice new audiences to attend the event.

APPROACH

Contemporary design with tech-inspired fonts and bold colours

After Brand Interviews and a thorough research on my part, explorations of different design options, we have decided to go with a contemporary look, slightly tech font and trendy colours. The 3d shapes were created with a collaboration of a Berlin based artist Lia.

RESULTS

Captivating visuals that leave a lasting impression

The new website gave Veryl festival a strong brand presence, that will stay with the festival for years to come and keep attracting new audiences to attend the events.
