Challenge

Finding a designer for a youth-centric project

The client faced the challenge of finding a designer who could effectively collaborate with young people in co-creating a project aimed at 12-19 year olds, someone who could truly understand and speak the same language as the young individuals.

APPROACH

Creative collaboration and user-oriented design

My approach was to blend creativity with a user-oriented design. Through active listening, meaningful conversations, and thought-provoking questions, I aimed to ensure a deep understanding of the project's objectives and the young members of the club. The process started with me designing three Stylescapes (style direction moodboard), which sparked excitement in the club members and helped them pick a design option, for me to continue working with.
